Haven't written here in a million years. But I'm happy to report that my goal to finish a screenplay and enter in a contest has been completed! I don't know that it is good enough, but it feels really good to have completed the goal. I nearly didn't make it - I will admit this year has been a trying one. But I tried my darndest during a dash of long days and late nights while at the same trying to start a business - a dual track I wouldn't recommend repeating. Out of fatigue, I nearly gave-up and threw in the towel with a dramatic flash of indifference to a forever nagging dream. Despite the sorrows of days gone by, you can never let the devil's indifference weigh on your inspiration. This weekend, in Thanksgiving, I've started writing another project. I just keep praying that if the story is meant to be told that I have the focus and tenacity to tell it.
